Ilkayar is ok, depends on how u use it like

"wsup my ilkayar?......nunmuch ilkayar......ilkayar please....etc"

Lakinse adding few letters can get u killed.

"what is up my ilkayigger" <<----totally offensive.

It can be offensive. Islam teaches not call the people (especially fellow Muslims) with words that are offensive.

Qaldaan has nothing todo with clan its more of a dilact and it VS Walaweyn.

However , Dhabayaco is offensive it measn Hunterers which in somali culture is an occupation of Midgaans, half of the Ogaadeens, Majeerteen, Mareexaan and Habar Gidir are called historically Dhabayaco which literally means those who HUNT and its a Midgan adjetive.

For instance we call Cali Wanaag sub-clan of the Ogaadeen Dhabayacos and they are reer Isaaq Maxamed Zubeer, been dabato is == Midgaan , and its offensive.

No Isaaq considers Idoor offensive in fact major Isaaq poets always prided in their Trade as been a quality, Idoor means traders nothing more nothing less, but little Daarood babies think its offensive.

Cimrigeed carada reer Isaaq cidaha Idoora
Sheekadaan ciroole iyo intaan cumar ka soo gaadhay
Curfigu aniga iyo reer Ducaaluu nagu cilaalaaye

cagdheer measn doqon dim witted, and Ogaadeens historically were the somali clawns, their stupidity is a legendary,

One time and Isaaq dude sold a pickup truck to an Ogaadeen and once the deal was done the Ogaadeen looked lost and the Isaaq the ogaadeen what else is left go take your truck the ogaadeen said " go'aynaa , hada dee waayee Idoorkii wadi lahaa aawe".

Another time and Ogaadeen after he had sold his goats in Hargaysa market bought a pair of sandles , instead of wearing it he dangled up on his shoulders to protect it , after while glass cut a deep slice of his foot looking he said " hada dee Ilaahay caqliga na siiyay eega, hadaa kabaha xiran lahaa waa iga halaabi lahaayeen".
