Somali Drug Khat May Be Funding Terrorism

Terrorist groups may be funding their activities through khat, an illegal stimulant smuggled daily into Canada, says a newly released intelligence report.
A declassified version of the Dec. 8, 2006, intelligence assessment, titled Khat: Connections to Terrorism? was obtained by the National Post under the Access to Information Act.

This drug is funding terrorists and should be banned worldwide as soon as possible especially europe where it is legal in uk/britain holland germany.

The FBI CIA MI5 should look into this as drugs/narcotics fund terrorists in colombia russia afghanistan sri lanka etc.

You're mistaken. Al-Shabaab actually burned down many khat trucks. Khat was banned in Somalia when the ICU was ruling. Khat is actually a multi-million dollar business that enriches the Kenyan & Ethiopian governments and companies. One of the reason why Somalia was invaded was the khat ban, so that Kenya & Ethiopia will continue to reap their profits.
