Djibsomali,

AC-130 gunships took off from Djibouti in 1993 so what prevents them this time.

You are a hypocrite defending Djibouti's role in the misery of Somalia

DjbiSomali,

Here you go:

http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.h ... A9649C8B63

This is not the first time that the American military has used Djibouti. AC-130 gunships were stationed here during the American military intervention in Somalia in the early 1990's. Navy ships also stopped here for fuel until the refueling operation was shifted to Aden, Yemen. The decision was made to build ties with Yemen's government and provide a more secure environment for replenishing Navy ships, but backfired when the American destroyer Cole was attacked by terrorists in 2000.

So what do you have to say about Djibouti's role ?

DjibSomali,

Stationed there - meaning those AC-130s that attacked Mogadishu took off and landed from Djibouti.

Whats your position towards Djibouti's involvement with the destruction of Somalia by hosting forces that attack Somalia ?

Of course Omar Gelle would deny it because he needs the $$$. He is in no position to say anything.

DjibSomali:

More Evidence:

http://www.economist.com/world/mideast- ... id=8531000

BELATEDLY, if inevitably, the fist of American military power has smashed back into Somalia. On January 7th and 8th, an AC-130 gunship of the Special Operations Command (flying out of the large American base in Djibouti) struck Islamist targets near the town of Afmadow in the bush of southern Somalia and again at Ras Kamboni, a peninsula on the border with Kenya (see map). Further air strikes were reported, some from attack helicopters, but the Americans denied it was they who were making them. The surviving Islamist fighters, now numbering in the hundreds, seem to be surrounded, squeezed between the Kenyan army to the south, the Ethiopians to the north and an American fleet offshore. A few may escape, others will surrender, and the rest will probably be killed within the week.

Abdiwahab if djibouti have done anything to do with 1 somali death let alone the massacre.
And it is proven, then come with al shabaab or aldugoyeen and take your revenge.
I would not defend anyone who is against the somali entity

Much better DjibSomali.

Local resistance is key: Issaq wadaad goes and prevents the use of Berbera port by the Ethiopians, Darood do the same for Bosaso, etc.

Why come all the way to Muqdisho when your own cities are teeming with the same enemies ?
