Dawaa, this is called "Chilli". It is a very tasteful spicy bean dish that comes from Mexican influence in American cousin of the south and southwest. It is not "dog food", dog food is something different. If you would like a picture example, ask and I can provide it for you. :P

Beans, Chilli, Hummus etc is eaten by poor people around here, like the Indians etc

See, I hope people now understand the unique perspective you bring to this forum as the only Somali not living in the West. Through you we can get a glimpse of negative perceptions of what it means to live in America or West and by your own conduct we get to see the negative acculturation people undergo in non-Western countries to emulate Western way of life.

Of course you are not bright enough to understand how you are the prime example, but really you should be proud you are the example. :P

Now on Chilli and Beans. "Bean" is a general name for the seeds of a plant. Many types of food are made from beans. "Chilli" is a type of dish called "ethnic food" in the U.S. and Americans would go to eat Teriyaki, Chilli, Lamb Korma normally and without discrimination of economic position. It is called "stepping out of your comfort zone" and trying something new.

Of course in your non-Western environment you have very rigid boundaries about what what it is to live in the "West" and so of course are very self-conscious about maneuvering between those boundaries for fear of not emulating the West, and therefore being seen as backward. Your case is especially extreme considering you are the ONLY Somali on these boards who doesn't live in Europe or North America, except for Gurey. I can imagine the pressure to conform you must always feel as judged by your extreme and forceful stance on various topics even when there is no need. :|

All peoples who subconsciously feel they have something to proof display such psychology. Don't be surprised at yourself because I am not, its why I always try to use you as an example. :P

Btw, this is dog food (notice the bowl has the word "dog" on it)

and this is Chilli

Do you see the difference now Dawaa? What neocon was eating is not, I repeat not called "dog food".

I hope this helped. :P

I am imagining Voltage talking like he is explaining something to a retard!! (he is actualy)

This topic is out of control.
