Arab culture rocked us walle. I mean schools are teaching kids arabic instead of somali. Don't get me wrong I'm not against arabic languege but somali should come first then arabic as a second languege, that's how things supposed to be. Remember we accepted islam while most Arabs ay dhagxan cabudayeen.

Ps. This has nothing to do with rligion, its about culture.

I don't think it's about xalaal and xaraam. Everyone knows music is not good in all forms. Laakin if you're going to have music, one should have good music. Somali music is mostly cra.p and I'm not saying arab music is all good...but in terms of music, it is certainly better. Somalis are good at writing the lyrics and can be very poetic but their singers mostly s.uck and their instrumentalists are a bunch of amateurs. Somali music needs a lot of work.

If You're going to have music, have whatever music You wish.

maybe its those nasheeds with the musical beats replaced by the drum and Islamically allowed instruments. Just maybe its that, if its just regular arabic music, then "NAA KIR" ku deh.

After a while, this belly dancer women comes..she was naked in the waist..Very low really..and she started belly dancing..The funny thing was there were older men who were relatives of the pride and the groom..and they just started to look down and so embarrssed by the naked women...Balaayo dhilifka kuu ruxday :x
