You're right sxb. The reason why the TPLF is pulling out ahead of the announcement of the next president of the TFG is to allow Shabab (not the TFG) to takeover where ever they vacate. The cycle continues.

Sxb you're right about one thng. Ethiopia has no role in the Dj conferene and thats why they're pulling out before a 'gov't of national unity' is created so as to not allow them a place to return to. Xamar is in chaos, Bay, Bakool, Gedo, Jubboyinka, & Shabeelada Hoose are under Shabab & allied groups.
Tell me, where will these fail proof government of yours be based in? Small sections of Xamar, Shabeelada Dhexe & parts of Hiiraan? How will it be different from the previous 'administrations'?
Ethiopia has no interest in seeing a united southern Somalia and Somalis aren't willing to compromise to make create a viable government that has support from all qabiils.
Somali 'leaders' would be wise to put off worrying about forming national government and focus on regional administrations like that of Puntland & Somaliland because those have a better chance of succeeding than a national government that only exists in recycled paper.
Thing is whoever controls Xamar and the surrounding areas always controls the South. If whoever wins in Jabuti can stabilize just Xamar, then ~80% of Somalia's problems are solved. The way it is looking now, chances are real that peace will finally prevail in Xamar. The initial developments and currents reality in Xamar is very encouraging and hopefully it paves the way for the ultimate stabilization of Xamar.
The people around both Nur Ade and Sh Sharif are capable and understand what they are up against and I hope they deliver and hopefully they will deliver.
