O.N.L.F Congratulatory Statement To The New Somali President

The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) extends its congratulations to his excellency Hon. Sheekh Sharif Sheekh Ahmed on his recent election as president of Somalia. The ONLF wishes the new president, well in his efforts to restore Somalia's rightful position as a united and sovereign member of family of nations.

The election of President Sheekh Sharif marks the failure of the Ethiopian regime's efforts to dictate the state of political affairs in Somalia and affirms that the will of the people of Somalia to administer their own affairs free of foreign intervention is mightier than the tanks and guns of invading Ethiopian troops.

While this elections is a positive first step in the right direction, the ONLF wishes to note that the Ethiopian regime has not abandoned its designs on Somalia. As such, the ONLF urges the new Somali President and the Somali people to remain vigilant as Ethiopian intelligence continues to be active in Somalia with a mission of manipulating almost every realm of political discourse and activity in the country.

i think your the one that needs to be educated about the regions.
other clans dominated the galbeed way before ogadens and waaaaaaaaaay before it was called ogaden.

lets not start this argument.....somali galbeed was a failed political bid directly linked to the central goverment of somalia,ogaden as it has been called for the last century is the prescribed name which is wholly recognised by the international community and it will be the name upon which liberation will be delivered,from there its upto the people.

in every clan there are traitor's and patriot's none can deny but to say that the ogaden clan is hampering ONLF's objective's in a major way is an overstatement and completely untrue,let me tell you without the populace ONLF would not survive,the ogaden clan is more united today than in any other time in its history.
