Conference call 101.

Postby Siciid85 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 5:32 am

Many of you who are new users seemed bewildered by the place. So here is few things you need to know next time you wish to join in.

After you dail 218-339-2500 (218-339-3600 also works) thereafter you may dail any number you want single or combinations. You do not have to be stuck in the number that is recommended by the sNeters. EXample, instead of 2121 or 4242 or whatever, you can also dial single digits like 1 or 2 or 3; you'll find non-SNet members mostly from U.S and Canada. You need to know the lower numbers usually are full of chaters. That is as far as public rooms are concern.

-If anytime you wished to go private with someone, you may ask that person to a number that you made up. Since there are alot of chaters in the conference rooms, there is a possibility that you may find people in the room you were planning to go. usually choosing high numbers will assure for privacy. Example, instead of 11 which is an obvious number make it 1111 or even more. Every number you dail actually works and is it's own room.

room control: if you're muted always dail *5, to mute yourself dail *6. Also remember when entering the room at the begining make sure you dail * in place of the #, so way you won't be muted by others. It's always frustrating when you don't know that.

-If you want to know how many people are in the room dial *2 or #2.

And yes if you're wondering about that loud static sound that is so annoying and desruptive. It happens when you join two lines together that are the same. example. if we are in room 2222 and you came in again in that very same room, then pressed the 'conference key' or 'join option' then it will make that loud noise. I hope you will never need to put it in practice, but just for your knowledge that is how it's done.

Have fun.

You'd call it like when you're calling africa. 011+the area code. which is 218.

It has 001, and then followed by the long digit number.

After that you enter the 4 digit number followed by #

Then you press 1.

Cali gaab i would recommend you dail the (*) instead of (#), because you can be muted unwillingly.

Of liqaaye, this is not a scam and fully legit.

I had to buy 3 fone cards after the first two couldnt connect me to it.

Get a Eurocity fonecard worth £5 for £3.50 and you get like 500-600minutes.
