In my humble opinion the somali conflict is much more worse than the palestinian one.

We Somalis have a lot of work to do but that does not mean we should not make dua for our brothers in the middle east or all muslims in general.

first of all, we are all muslims and we are all going back to allah one day. when our brothers and sisters are getting brutally murdered, with phosphorous bombs that burn human flesh, WE SHOULD HAVE A STRONG REACTION. these are people that are facing tremedous hardship FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH...most of u seem to be under the impression that jews are of no concern to u but the truth is if they could get ahold of u, they would do the same thing if not worse.

It is sad that Muslims haven't gotten together and gone against the gaalo(jews). It makes me sad wallahi that "we" somalis have no concern about whats going on in Gaza. When money was being collected in my city, most of the people were saying "why should we send our money to Gaza when people in somalia need it." Somali ppl chose to fight over qabil and who takes power, they chose to continue to fight for almost two decades because they can't decide what qabil should take power rather than choosing a worthy leader regardless of their qabil.

I was watching this clip on youtube today and sat on the computer for hours looking at the pain and tourment that the muslims in Gaza are going through. I now more than ever hate the jews and may allah swt burn them in hell.

Last week my 19 yr old cousin came to sleep over my house and this topic came up. She said why aren't the muslims getting together and why aren't they doing something?!.
That had me thinking because all "we" muslims tend to say that. What are you as a muslim doing for the muslims around the world?!

BOYCOTT!!! I don't know why people are still sitting in Starbucks when your dollars are being shipped to Isreal. Still eating Mcdonalds and buying isreali products. The reward might be greater than you think. May Allah keep the people in Gaza safe and protect the. AMIN!

What's happening to the Palestinians is something you would not wish for any human being, however, the question is, are they fighting in the path of Allah and to raise His word and the Sunnah or, are they fighting to appease the gaalo when they chose Democracy over Shareeca? Besides, not all Palestinians are Muslims.

Also, do you know (I just found out recently) that most Palestinians hate Somalis? It's because of a PLO hijacked plane (Lufthansa) that landed in Mogadishu airport and Siad Barre ordered their massacre and freed the plane.

When America was about to invade Iraq only Iran, Malaysia and Indonesia non of them Arab, voiced their concern of the imminent destruction of Iraq and suggested imposing some oil sanctions against Bush and his friends. These are the same people who who helped invited the British which in return planted the state of Israel their midst. No one likes to see those kids being killed by Israel's war machine but the problem lies within the Arabs. Today, although among wealthiest nations in the world in terms of revenue/population, non of the Arab countries is fully industrialized and non of them belongs to group 23 most technological advanced nations. They have been unhappy and backward society since Alexander the great's time.

Let's not be deluded folks. Muslim Unity is a fallacy at this stage given the current socio and economical situation most Islamic countries are in. We as Somalis should worry about progressing ourselves individually and community before we can step up to the likes of Israel, our alleged enemy. Come to think of it, we should emulate them and can learn a lot from them. We ought to learn to walk before we can run.
