Lebanon

Salams all,
Anyone been to Beirut or any other city in Lebanon. I am heading to Dubai next weekend and plan on visiting Lebanon for a week of mongering, Anyone have a good take on this.

What about the folks in Dubai themselves, how has mongering been affected by global economic turmoil? I've been told by a dude most Russians, Moroccan/Lebanese honeys left Dubai as there isn't a big boom market anyone. Is this true?

Last time I was there in 2007 Oxygen in that famous Sheikh Zayed Road hotel used to be good. Plenty of emirates crew hang out there, especially Aussies. Is the place still open? One could find arabesques in hotel lobby though. I remember all you needed was a blue tooth enabled phone to do your thang.

What about Amnesia, the one next to Hard Rock Cafe. It is closed. Any new joint opened in their place?
Is The Apartment in Jumeirah Beach still open? How are crowds there these days?
Sho Cho, the Lebanese overpriced and tacky joint. Premier in Marriot Deira, others I am forgetting?
Dubai fellas and other fellow mongers let's hear it.

Thanks all and pleasant weekend everyone.
