I didn't see this post. It only costs a $1000 to build a well in Gedo saaxib. Someone was telling me just yesterday that for 7 gs, you can build up to 6 to 7 wells. Decent ones too that are very deep.

and im sure when there is talk of no water it has nothing to do with drinking water, but rather water for farming, if i am wrong then something is seriously wrong with Marehan diaspora from Gedo,,,, speaking from experience Rer Galgaduud never suffered from Lack of drinking water despite the never ending drought.

There isn't such thing as marehan diaspora from Gedo. About 90 percent of marehans in the west are reer mudug. I assume you are referring to reer mudug people when you use the word "us". Well if that is the case, then there is plenty of land in Gedo for everyone.

Mahdi, it is expensive if you do it on your own but NGOs like CareUSA build wells for people all the time for an amount much smaller than it would normally require to build a well on your own. They provide the well digging equipment if you can provide some guarantees for them. I was just reading on their website how they will dig upto 6 decent wells for about 10,000 USD. I am not very certain if CareUSA operates in Gedo though since there are barely any NGOs in Gedo thanks to the morons you support.
