The Somali Society Need to Change

Postby Mtombaji » Sun Mar 15, 2009 2:28 pm

Fock the 1750 culture. We need a lot of reforms done to our current somali culture. I think most of it is outdated and can't cope with today's world. Some of those cultures were invented in the 1550s. I love to see our society heading to reform. We need some reforms like group marriages, the girl and the boy bringing their own stuff to the new home instead of buying new shit and individual responsibility and thinking instead of community race thinking or ethnic thinking.

This is just the beginning

I think it is not about who has money from what I understand. I don't believe all this 21 guys can be the same financially. Some of them might be well off but it was about the reform and inspiration for others. They wanted to start a change and I am proud of them. This is ok In Islam and ok In any normal mind. There is nothing wrong with Somali brothers cost sharing a wedding haflad. So many people would attend, there would be plenty of food for the Masaakiin, And at the end of the day, each guy would tie the note to his beloved girl. Don't think raga in ay dumarka sowada shukansadeen. Iskumeel ayay kumehersaden uun
