That was the main flaw with a Marehan state. Nobody believed. It was mentioned once or twice, but not one Marehan took themselves seriously. No Marehan bothered to create a specialized wiki page for it, no gov't page, nothing.

Look at the Warsangalis and Maakhir. The state only existed on paper for 2 months and they recently got a new section. Now everyone believes its a state.

It wasn't even until someone said it last month that we all found out Maakhir stopped existing last June.

Talk about Jubbaland, no more North & South Marehanians, just one state. Call it Marehanland or Supersomaliland if you want...the more you talk the more its true.

Guys, Jubbaland is for everyone that lives in the three Jubba regions, Gedo,midlle Jubba and Lower Jubba all these three regions share a lot in common and can not be separated, Ogaden are included not only they are Darods, but they also reside here, the president will be marehan since they are the majority, Ogaden will get the vice president and harti the speaker of the Parliament. Others like Sheekhaals, Gaaljecel,Baajuun,carab, etc will be given ministries and directors positions, no one will be left behind…
