Madagascar's population is predominantly of mixed Austronesian (i.e.South-East Asian/Pacific Islander) and African origin.

Madagascar is part of the 50 countries of African continent, but there are alot of Indo-Asian ppl.

But already The European Union, has refused to recognize the new government, due to it being installed by force. The African Union, suspended Madagascar's membership on 20 March and the Southern Africa Development Community both criticized the forced resignation of Ravalomanan.

This tells me that this guy is a good guy, if the European union and the African union are against him, but his people support him.

It says that:
Madagascar's population is predominantly of mixed Austronesian (i.e.South-East Asian/Pacific Islander) and African origin. Those who are visibly Austronesian in appearance and culture are the minority, found mostly in the highland regions. Recent research suggests that the island was uninhabited until Austronesian seafarers arrived about 1,500 to 2,000 years ago. Recent DNA research shows that the Malagasy people are approximately of half Austronesian and half East African descent, although some Arab, Indian and European influence is present along the coast.

So they are 50% East African, and it says that the Austronesian ppl are minority in the country.

Kid's been rejected by the International Community. He should give up power instead of turning His Country into a African version of N Korea

I read somewhere that he used to be a DJ before he bought a radio or something. And suddenly he is the president!!

Also I guess he is younger than the minimum age required to be a president in that country.

There is nothing "Indian" about Madagascar. They are Bantu and Austro-melanesian. Always have been even their language is like that.

As for this no one elected this disc jokey as president. What happened is the former president Ravalamanano signed an agreement with Korean Daewoo company to rent a sizable portion of land to use for agriculture they own. The people opposed this, this i.diot disc jokey rose to eminence through the air waves which led to becoming the face of the opposition until the opposition was able to persuade the military. Some of the military tookover the presidential palace in the capital and the president was forced to step down.

Nothing democratic and thoroughly corrupt transfer of power. Besides the Africans were the first to oppose him and then the world followed. Africans have first say in Africa, this is not colonialism and the Southern African Development Community said NO LEGITIMACY to this government and the world followed.

Incorrect. The southern African SADC have been involved even before the president was overthrown speaking out against the opposition and when the president was forced to resign, within hours the Africans met and in Swaziland and declared this government null and void even before he was officially named president. The world followed then.
