Somalia Is a well-known Country, but the Media tends to ignore it.

I could find books about Somalia's petriotic songs (Heesaha gobonimo doonka) and some Somali poems in a Library in Christchurch New Zealand (the remotest city from Somalia). They reckon the Somali Poetry's complexity is unrivelled in the word as it follows a pattern of rythm and words that start with the same letter in a two part verse that has equal rythmic weight.

Mexican poets came next. :mrgreen:

Somalia is not that unknown. Some random white man on the bus today was telling me how much he likes Somali culture. He even knows the different qabiils. He asked if I'm from Hargeisa or Mugdishu?
