I was surprised when I heard that a longtime family friend used to be married to an AA woman and has a daughter ( which he has absolutely nothing to do with). He did it for immigration purposes and is now married to a Somali woman and has a few kids with her. Sad.

What a heartless thing to say to someone. I have a friend she is half Eritrean half Somali and any somali that meets her they treat her as though she is pure Somali.


P.s. I disagree about the sticking to your own kind, if they are muslim than i don't
see why their race or ethnicity has to be an issue.

Somali mixtures and racism:

Somali-Arab/Indian/Middle Eastern etc mix: Well respected, has no problems being accepted within the Somali community.

Somali-White mix: Gets some respect, but Somalis are always suspicious to these types.

Somali-African mix (Muslim): They respect them, but always behind their backs look down on them.

Somali-African/Caribbean mix (non-Muslim): Ridiculed, not respected.

Somali-East Asian mix: Just weird, one in a gazillion.

Somalis are some ignorant people. We love mixing with anyone lighter than us but hate mixing with our own dark skin relatives even if they are muslim. Makes zero sense to me. I got mad at my mom when she said if I were to marry a non-Somali.......make sure its a white girl......and never a black one

I personally believe you should get with whoever you love and ethnicity should never be a barrier. Its just lame that we (black skinned peoples) hate eachother more than even white people.

Racist bigots with geeljire/reer baadiyo mentality should be frowned upon. I was told of a couple of boys who were born to a Somali woman who were also half West African, well educated and pretty well off who decided to get to know their mother's Somali side out of respect and found out the harsh truth of Somali bigotry. Most of the time, they don't even try to hide their bigotry....some people are really sick walaahi.

eyes only oh please. Do u expect us to congratulate them for contaminating the pure blood of somali? Hell no. The only mixed breed allowed is --half somali and half cadaan. Eyes only--- u of all people should know this.As an advocate and believer of evolution, eyes only, u should know that humans evolutionally, need to improve their specie. They need to mix with superior race to make their survival more successesful.
