You have to choose a war at a time of your choosing. A very basic principle of war. The Uluma and the Elders are making last ditch efforts to reason with the fanatics and when they fail, guns will start blazing.

The Islamic Courts attacked the houses of the Al Shabab leaders today with thousands of troops, sadly, the cowards ran away, so they killed their body guards and recovered some weapons and bombs. From the news reports, the Al Shabab leaders took the beach road and escaped to Marka.

But make no mistake about it. Their time is up.

That is some good news indeed.

Horta when will the Government and Islamic Courts make a joint Army?

As far as I'm concerned this is a public domain and I can roam as far/wide as I want to browse, however, haven't you got anything of substance other than qoutes from the curseed clan everyday.

I pray for peace in Mogadishu and rest of Somalia and hope one day Allah will restore the dignity we once had as somalis, laakiin sxb I don't endorse clan based, dabodhilif dominitaed, tigre dictated so called TFG government...big

ONLF will certainly welcome permanent peace to take root in Mogadishu and a proper Somali government even if TL is it's president, one big condition it has to be a genuine Somali led initiative....

On one hand you criticize this government because it is "clan-based" yet on the same breath you defend the ONLF. Cajiib

I knew you were going to pick on that sxb, I common misconception among somalis not just yourself but I can tell you that ONLF army has 6 geographically based command centres, 2 of them are led by non-OG's.

And the overall millitary commander for the ONLF is a non-OG, but we are still seeking further reforms, an Issa guy (a former minister and politicians) is now a major player in ONLF politics.

Waryaa you ambushed me from another corner, it's a well known fact in the context of ONLF, the O stands for the name of the region Ogaden (not Ogaadeen clan lol), I know that is difficult for a somali with clan mental tendency to swallow and I have spent many times explaining this historical fact to the masses.

However, in this instances I will direct you to hear from horses mouth (Meles) himself and tell if you still think it's name of a clan.....lol
