i was at the Maqaayat again, chatting to the oldies, who were part of MSB (aun) government and those who fought the filthy Amxar

how come Ogaden did not chose independence when it was offered by Zanawi, and why did you chose federalism with eithiopia which you then fought each other over??

so you guys never wanted to be part of Somalia and form the ultimate Somaliweyn???

where does the ONLF come in this?

you guys best explain yourself :x

who said this, the reason why ONLF was kicked out of goverment was because they asked meles zenawi to conduct a refrendum for the somali region to gain independence as the constitution of ethiopia allowed for this to happen. BUt meles cracked down on the ONLF, arrested, killed its member's upon seeing no hope in gaining independence through diplomatic and govermental avenues, the ONLF took its fight to the bush in 1995 and it continues till today.

end of story, meles rejected independence.

who the hell would want to join somali now or anytime soon, i dnt speak for ONLF but the idea is to seperate from ethiopia and form an indepndent free state, right now the way ONLF is modelled i think they would be reluctant to join somalia, however we cannot rule out a union either. in the end it depends on the environment of the time and nature of politics at the time. the answer to the question would be leaning yes.
