Well there are a lot of Mareexaans from Gedo and Kismaayo...and since the war/famine affected the south mostly...a lot of people fled from there. Whereas the people of Mudug are living in their cities peacefully. Of course kuwo badan baa ka soo tageen, but not as much as Reer Gedo left Gedo. My own understanding of it
