it means absolutely nothing mate, you know how i know because the mayor of my city used to live in the council house next door to me. i used to tell me him what a tosser he was now and again, man couldnt even ensure the collection of garbage in the street he live in. i also now somali guy who is mayor in a town near my city. now you tell me a mayor does, apart from occasional wearing goor weyn and dressing like kristy the clown,

So the mayor of your city lived in a council house next door?

There's many things that they do, the man we talking about in this topic for example is the head of Tower Hamlets, one of the largest boroughs if not the largest.

Any developments in the region are passed on to him and approved by and he meets with the likes of Boris Johnson or any Mayor of London.

To say their job title equates to nothing is ridiculous.

Kambuli,

In order to reach that title he must be neutral about issues in Somalia, today London has very diverse Somali community. I don’t think anyone can succeed solely depending one clan.

But who knows someone my post tomorrow pictures of him waving that Iranian flag

yes he lived in the same street.

he doesnt approve of anything, he just signs it, the councillors decide that, he is just one among many councillors and you claim he meets boris johnson, so what is that a job requirement. listen sxb before you waste my time learn how the sytem workers and what a mayor is. give me MPs and MINISTERS, instead of glorify councillors to me

No he didnt live in the same street as you, you claimed he lived next door in a council home stick to the story.

By signing it doesn't that mean it cant be passed without his approval? Dude, any projects go through him....i work in Town Planning in Reading and any developments go through the Mayor of whichever council it is and yet here you are saying their job is of no use.
