Shirib, Before the advent of Islam, Arabia was matriarchal society where women were on top. Hence why Khadiija was businesswoman and married Mohammud when he was 25 and she 40.


ms.naaila, I have nothing against with women working but there are Islamic clerics who argue that they shouldn't using Islam as their source. Keep in mind that this thread commenced with the misogynist Lacagylacag who claimed that in Islam women shouldn't work because men would take of them.
