This topic needs a re-look:

Other than the port, Qardho is on equal terms with Berbera if not bigger in terms of size/area.

I mean you can literally see the whole city in this picture:

In conclusion: Qardho is bigger than Berbera. Cased closed.

This is a picture of Berbera taken from a roof of a and it is on the edge of the city why lie AhmadBoqor?

and it is a ridiculous comparison because Qardho should be compared to other isaaq towns such as sheikh, arabsiyo or gabiley but not berbera.

Berbera is the brother of Moqadishu Marka and Zeila, it shouldn't be compared to a town like qardho that has existed less then 120 years ago.

I dont usually like childish comparisms, my city is biger than yours iyo waxaas wakhti lumiska ah, but one thing i hope you guys are aware of is that Hargeisa alone is at list twice biger than all Puntland cities and villages put toghether.

We know what Hargeisa is (although you're clearly exaggerating), that is not the topic of discussion. I'm saying what you guys consider as a city, we call it a town

Also we're not talking about which one has the prettier buildings or better equiped firefighters, I'm simply looking at the area of each place. Now I dare anyway to say they aren't similar.

^ Sxb you could have saved face instead of coming into this topic and bitching about what should be considered as simple facts. Berbera is overrated and is only recognized as a city because it contains the only large port Somaliland has.

Bosaso has the biggest functioning port in Somalia but you won't see PLers claiming Bosaso as anything near Hargeisa. So whats the hype with Berbera? 1 three story building doesn't make a city.

If you have a counter argument, bring it, otherwise :lost:

i have to admit....I am deliriously surprised at the size of berbera..I am talking scooby doo style surprise..
You see, with all the hargeysa burco and berbera fanfare, I always assumed it was a city that matched gaalkacyo in terms of size.. Gosh

berbera is an ancient city (well tuulo actually) and deserves respect in that sense but I am seriously surprised...

So the isaaq population that is twice the size of darood live in hargeysa and burco I am assuming..

Qardo ku wastay. Are you comparing Berbera, the most beautiful and historic somali coastal city with some third-rate tuulo nobody's ever heard of?
