i find it very hard to believe that America had the chance to go to the moon just once...and was unable to repeat it....they are egotistical maniacs and if they had the capabilities, they would've gone over and over and over. so with that said...i don't believe they've ever set foot in the moon. loved the Stanley Kubrick Apollo 11 production though.

grant, you didn't quite fully answer my question, instead your response is the proverbial NASA press release..

the funny thing about all of this is NASA's lack of preservation with respect to important documentations/videos/photos that would serve a blueprint to rebuild a mission of like caliber...coupled with the fact that key decision makers of the original mission are mostly deceased..and you'd think they're knowledge would've been kept on retainer for future use..but NASA's response to this is simply, it was too expensive to maintain the program...whatever!
