Woman uses potato peeler to stab another female

A woman has been arrested in Vancouver afer she allegedly used a potato peeler to stab another woman’s ear during a fight outside the Republic Nightclub.

Yurub Mohammed Arte, 25, has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon after she bit and then stabbed another woman, 20, with the potato peeler.

“The two got into an altercation outside the Republic Nightclub around 2:00 a.m. on July 27th and Arte, brandishing a potato peeler, stabbed the other woman in the left ear. She was held by staff until police arrived,” police said.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of a minor injury to her ear and a bite wound to her chest
