walee somali way waasheen. When did common courtesy of handshake become a major issue. I personally would be offended if I extend my hand to a lady and she refuses to shake on it. Heck I hate folks who do not give a proper firm handshake.

It depends on one's upbringing. If someone is like you or king Abdullah who had a secular upbringing, handshaking won't be a major issue.
