Brazil crime show host on suspicion of commissioning killing

Brazilian police are investigating a TV crime-show host, Wallace Souza, on suspicion of commissioning killings to boost his ratings and prove his claim that Brazil's Amazon region is awash in violent crime.

Souza's lawyer, Francisco Balieiro, said his client is innocent and the charges are an attempt by his political enemies to disgrace him.
