Bicir,
Kismaayo ownership is exclusive to nobody and who ever thinks otherwise I think is in for a rude awakening. Its only been the last 10 years that the place has been ignored on Puntlanders part and thats because our elites were busy building Puntland and paving the way for a federal system to better Somalia, and their hard work hasn't gone to waste since they've built an establishment that has so far served its purpose.
Now that Puntland is here to stay, implementing the federal system is more worthy of effort then going bankrupt over Kismaayo and this is where Punland will try to focus next. We want a long-term plan that secures our investment when it comes to Kismaayo and implementing the federal system which were the driving force behind it will grantee us that. Jubbaland will take a collective effort in which all its inhabitants will take part and unless that is granted, the truth of the matter is any single entity trying to impose their clans interest on others will only manage to drive its self bankrupt. Our elites figured this out seasons ago and the place continues to changes hands every season, this is a fact we've all come to terms with no nonsense.

Soon or later Puntland will hit the jackpot, a cause I believe is more worthy of our elites attention then wasting their time dealing with folks who have yet to come off their high horse which as of today has gotten them nowhere.
No doubt Kismaayo residents (those living there prior to 1998) have been forced out by unholy militias foreign to the land but did those who have encroach on their land benefited? The answer is a big fat no... Though they have manage to blindside us once it's they who have since been blindsided once too many; their men, money, and moral has been wasted while we've been blessed. I tell you, being the power house Puntland has become, the state sure is in a better position today to position ourselves to be the undisputed establishment of Kismaayo, after all we are in better position to do just that then they could have ever dreamed of doing when they blindsided us in 1998.
The truth of the matter though is, it isn't 1998 any more, nations have invaded Kismaayo and today all Farole, Gas or any of our elites have to do is jet to Nairobi or Addis Ababa; there is really no need to fight a "Geeljire" anymore who neither sees or hears.
