G8 Pledges $50 Billion to Africa!

Postby IRONm@N » Fri Jul 08, 2005 1:07 pm

Some good news for Africa and Africans, $ 50 billion dollars --that will be a billion dollar for each country in africa --which I'm guessing their is 50-51 countries---or as usuall this money will go to the corrupt leaders that will put it in their Swiss-banks.

Blair: 'It is a beginning, not an end'

Friday, July 8, 2005; Posted: 8:42 a.m. EDT (12:42 GMT)

Scotland (AP) -- British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Friday hailed the G8's $50 billion package for Africa and other agreements as "a beginning, not the end" of a new era in aid to the world's poorest nations
------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is this mean to the African world? I guess its time for them, to get their lazy asses up and take responsibility for their actions, and take care of their countries and people and become self sufficient and join the rest of the civilized world.

So what does 1 billion dollars mean to countries like rwanda, somalia, and others who have bad governments? Nothing...most of those people won't see a shilling like ironm@n said. Sad.
Why doesn't Blair speak out on the mosque that was burned down because of the london"terror attacks"? Always quick to blame a muslim aren't they? Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

let get to the main point of this statements...............first of all its not about the money................its about how the government run their coutry....u can have millions of dollars..........whats the point of having it if u dont know how to use it.........if yall think ppl that rule countries that are in africa think about ppl........yall gota another thing coming..........they dont care about no one else but themselv..........if africa had great rulers that think caupable of doing something for their country it would been a good place..........but wat can u........the only rulers that we got are idotic bastards.............in conclusion.......my statement is to forget about the past and focus on.........the future ......let see if we can change the motherland........actions are stronger than words.......lets stop talkin...........and prevent something
