Your take on this photo....?

Postby Kolombo » Thu Sep 03, 2009 5:06 pm

Image

The Brazilian press ad, created by local advertising agency DDB Brasil, is called "Tsunami" and uses images of dozens of planes about to crash into New York City skyscrapers to illustrate the scale of the lives lost in the 2005 Asian tsunami. WWF's ad, which also shows the World Trade Center towers destroyed in the terrorist attacks of 2001, was created and approved at the end of last year and appeared briefly in the Brazilian press.

Too soon? Disturbing? Acceptable? Exaggerated?

I think it proves a point to those who live in the west. Americans really do live in their own bubble and dont recognize the world around them. I think this picture depicts the grand scheme of what actually has gone on in the Tusnami in 05.

Great Ad.
And no I dont think its too soon. They should do one that shows how many people were killed in Iraq

I agree. Cool picture by the way, looks like a scene from a movie.

What's so disturbing about it? Americans are so fixated on 9/11 and this ad puts things in perspective for them.

Great Add, Hundred's of thousand's died on that day & millions became homeless, Cities were wiped out & we forgot all about it just like all the other problems & conflicts of the World but when it comes to West it's another story.
