In the west only youth mix Somali and English/Swedish/Dutch whatever, in Arabic countries old people who came here as adults screw up both languages :lol:

I think it perhaps has to do with that Somalis in the Middle East are more willing and motivated to learn the language compared to let’s say Somalis in Germany or Sweden. Religious affiliation etc.

New Qaxootis become fluent in Arabic within 1 or 2 years while some Qaxootis that live in Europe won't learn the language even after 20 years of residency.

Many Somalis here speak even better Arabic than educated Arabs..

:lol: so true-from what i have seen. ukhtii,akhii, xabiibtii, kayf kaalag bay kuhayaan, maxaa kudhacay, walaashiis, seetahay, nafta kawaran. :down:

and if some somali dont know arabic he will say dee xalakadee dee :lol:
