We have all seen alot of mothers who are shocked by hearing that their sons joined alshabaab. That shows that the mothers even didn't know about it nor did they give a permession.
Once a youngman came to the prophet, because he wanted to do jihad with him. So the prophet asked him:'Do you have a mother, they youngman repleid: 'No'. The prophet asked him do you have an aunt, he said yes. The prophet said to him :'Go to her she will be your Jihad" i.e struggle.
Maybe alshabaab is wrong on political position but they are definitely wrong from an islamic point of view

To keep the locals from defending themself against USC the wadaads captured 50 odayaal, including AY, islaan cabdulle and many others. Why would they do that? they were already given support and the keys of all affairs? Well Xasan daahir and Caydiid share one thing, guess what?
