Laasqorey has declined since 1989 due to the dangerous mountaineous terrain and unpaved Geeldoora road.

Boosaaso has eclipsed it. Before 1988, Laasqorey was the biggest North eastern City. It's people now own 1/3 of businesses in Boosaaso.

Abakar, beware also there are many fake videos being circulated in Youtube.

People don't fall for that lie, dubeys clan only settle 5% in bari. 95% majerten. They own no businesses in bossaso. For example etn and sbc tv channels osman mahmud. Horseed media osman mahmud.

Abdi Halim, it's mostly Garaad Cabdalle and Adan Siciid which own the most businesses.

Dubeys dominate the demographic #s.

Btw, don't fall for that Political article. It's not a Report. It was probably influenced by the secessionists and their foreign agents who always love to associate Puntland with Majeerteen.

Read the report "Search for Peace in Puntland"
The Harti clan group comprises the Majeerteen (in Bari, Nugaal and North Mudug regions and Zone 5 of Ethiopia), the Dhulbahante (in Sool and Sanaag regions), the Warsangeli (in Sanaag and Bari regions) and the Deshiishe clans (in Bari region).
