I took a long break from Somali politics and now I'm just hearing about a new org. called Hizbul Islam and they battled Shabab in Kismayo....who are they and where did they come from?

You're right, my bad, its mostly the old ICU, who didn't turn Shabaab and didn't go with Shariif.

Aweys, Turki, etc.

Turki wasn't Asmara faction, he stayed in Somalia, and trained and fought with Kambooni
