Did Al Shabab win the kismayo war?

Postby Salaaxley79 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 3:57 pm

I read this wonderful update among the niic naac

This is a break down of what transpired.
Shabaab declred war yesterday on Xisbul Islam.
Early this morning they made an offence on the Xisbul Islam Bases.
They lost heavily as 4 of the top leaders in the offence were killed and were pushed back as the war went in favour of Xisbul Islam
later part
Militia from Berxanu suspected of being Marexan dashed in and attacked Canoole from the rear. This unexpected attack led to the death of the leader of Canoole and this militia outnumbering Canoole overpowered Canoole thus in the confusion, Canoole militia was decimated and scattered.
Also a group of Xisbul Islam memebrs who were position on a strategic location did mutiny.

Raskambooni being the only group left to fight had to do a tacticle withdrawal and are at the outskirts of the city. Raskambooni men did lose 5 men and are still intact while a whole group hardly were involved in the skirmishes today.

So far 'Shabaab' they have the the upper hand even though they lost alot of men today as their bodies are scattered in the battlefield.

But credit goes to the fallen soilders of Canoole they did infact fight ferociously in contrast to the propaganda being circulated in the media. It just happened that they were outnumbered and outmanouvered by the militia from Berxani. But the fact still remains they did repel Shabaab militia.

The war continues and scores of civilians are escaping the city.

Thats the update for today.

shabaab were not fighting against xisbul Islam, as they had indicated. they were instead fighting the other annoying guy aka Axmed Madoobe aka the greedy shiikh.
