That's probably one of the main reason why divorce rates are so high. After work, he's waiting for a home-cooked meal & a foot massage and she's waiting for roses,a box of chocolates, & a surprise dinner date. :|

    @foot massage.

Realistically though I believe in coming in the middle. I mean if a Guy is making GOOD money and is more than providing for the family, is actually around His kids then the Woman should have no problems taking the homemaker role. However if the dude ain't making nothing, is a lazy mashaqeyste and the girl is the one paying the bills or even half the bills, then Yes I agree she should wear half the pants in the House, and the Man should split family duty with the Wife. Really though would girls want to work 9-5 Mon-Fri while they're pregnant?

Enlighted Sister,

Horta adiga Xaal baa lagaa rabaa. Why would you say " Nimanka sida naagaha iska fadhiya"..Where did see women sitting idly? They are either cleaning, cooking or popping kids and working just like the guys etc etc  Bal xaal na sii haddii aan haweenka nahay..

Murax,

I agree with you. If the girl is the bread winner of the household what is stopping the guy to do the house chores? That is my reasoning or if both of them are bread winners..Then they both should help in the household. But if the Halimo is the stay home mom why would she complain about the house chores :?:

You're right. Too many chicks be watching soap operas & hollywood/bollywoods movies and then have trouble separating fantasy from reality.

So god forbid your wife wakes up in the middle of the night for you know what, are you going to make her go and brush her teeth?

ES do you mean brothers that grow beards and have their garments above their ankles? are you aware this is part of the sunnah?

back to the topic- women need to be more realistic, you can't expect your husband to be superman.
