Can men find a wife whom they can control?

I'm with Perfect_Order on this one. Men are the heads of their households because there's wisdom behind it. But this doesn't mean a total dictatorship either, its encouraged for spouses to cooperate and seek each other's advices on matters concerning their families. The Prophet (saw) sought the advice of his wives, specially Khadija (ra) on almost everything. But the final decision was his to make.

The Qur'an says: "...you are like 2 garments...." Meaning 1 needs the other 1 to function. :up:

CCL yes I can, if we don't see a state as a big family where the leader cares for us like our father would care for his family then there goes the stability of the state.

There is no such thing as equals in anything one is above the other, and each has its own responsibilities that's a true partnership, I suspect that you have an inferior complex.

ps. Control is down to personality women are generally more passive then males so they tend to avoid confrontation and go with the flow.
