Al-Shabab...

Postby GENERAL_SNM » Tue Dec 08, 2009 3:17 pm

Major players they have the south shuck up. Walle if I didn't know better I'd think the Somalilanders serving in their ranks are double agents serving the interest of the Duriyad in the hostile terrain of the south. I think Somaliland should support them covertly for two reasons, two keep the south occupied and to keep somaliland out of their target zone. I'm sure they'll be over the moon to have the biggest player in somalia on their side.

Al-Shabaab will soon be lifeless. They don't have full support from the people. The reason why they are still making some noise is the TFG and its ineptness. I predict the collapse of the useless Somaliland administration and the paganic sect of Al-Shabaab in the next 5 years.

I think its a crime to be stupid in general with all the free education available in the west. But can you elaborate on where you think I'm wrong. I dont expect you to understand things from a somaliland point of view never the less try and rise above the victim mentality that Al-shabab have forced upon you and share with us your first hand knowledge.

In a crazy sort of way, al-shabaab is actually good for us. Because we can argue with confidence that terrorist are attempting to take over somalia. So the west should continue to support the central government and begin to help it gain control of the capital by training and armying somalia's own national officers.
The problem with smellylanders is that they have made themselves unimportant to the west by isolating themselves from key events in somalia.
Al-shabaab are not a serious threat. They have failed to overthrow the government and the clock has begun turning against them.
So smellylander don't get too happy but have fear

Parents are perplexed: They still see the Somali conflict as an internecine tribal war, not a religious conflict. How could their sons reconcile returning to a ravaged country their families sought so desperately escape?

A further contradiction is that they may have joined a movement based primarily in Somalia's south, in the city of Kismayo, even though four of the five men are descended from families from the relatively stable northern province of Somaliland.
You already are supporting them :|
