I only wonder why Ilmo Isak are rejecting their Dir brothers. That's not very nice.

I can't speak for Issa and Gudabiiri nation. We "Reer sheikh Isahaq" are descendants of Sheikh isahaq but you are free to believe whatever you want man including the concept of "DIR WAQOOYI" which's politically misused for the purpose to put us with the (.5) the minority ethnic communities...

in the past the term jaamici was used for graduates from university. but now it is hijacked by diffrent kinds of graduates( not from uni)

ever heard of people saying ''waar ma jaamacadii baad tageeysaa'' when going to certain kinds of social clubs( especially in part of europe may in our part africa too).

so now jamiciis are those who have a lot of experience in those social clubs, if you know dont what social clubs these are, they are somali social clubs and if still dont know ask one of your male relatives.

university graduates in waqooyi are called simply graduates sometime its somalisised GRAAJUUWAD

some people, especially older generation they use the term qalin jabiyey '' heebal jaamacadii bu qalin jabiyeye'' meaning literally so and so has broken the pen of the university.
you may ask why they use that its just one of those things like '' naagtan baas wey i lug gooysay'' literal meaning this damn woman has cut my leg, but its meant to say this damn woman has wasted my time or she caused to lose or somthing like that.
