The argument Somalis are more Arabized today.

Postby Voltage » Sun Jan 17, 2010 3:58 pm

It is a recurring theme in this forum to talk about the dangers of Arabization of Somalia but can you see any modern Somali dressing like how some of us used to dress before colonialism and the modern governance?

Why do we hear Somalis are becoming Arabized nowadays when they were more Arab/Middle Eastern back in the day?

Voltage the issue is much bigger than arab clothings, sxb most of these people who engage in such topics have a problem with the diin and would rather attack it indirectly or interpret the clear teaching of Islam from their perspective to meet their kufr life style.

Are Somalis less or more Arabized today?

I have always said Western technology and Arab culture is the future of Somalia.

Voltage,

I am going to say something, and it is within your right to reply. But, since I am a very busy person oddly there will be no rebuttal.

To me you seem to have a low-level of confidence that over exceeds anything you have to say. You continually put down your OWN people to raise the bar for others. You have this obsession with Arabs that is unparallel, and you feel the need as I have just read a second ago that you beleive Somalia was better when it was colonized. It is shameful, BEYOND shameful. I would never even if I felt negative about certain circumstances affiliated by my people to put them down in order to lift someone up. You see all these problems with Somalia and Somalis, but the reality is you too are a problem. I am content with the circumstances of my people, and I know they will rise one day as they did those faithful days on both June 26th and July 1st of 1960.

I hope you realize who you are and accept it, and find ways to help instead of hinder.
