I know this topic has been raised and asked alot, but i will ask again
when it comes the big somali clans like hawiye darood and isaaq all of them have big sub clans for example ogaadeen and majeerteen of darood habar gidir and abgaal of hawiye garxajis and habar awal of isaaq, and somali people call all that sub clans with their names except garxajis, I mean you will see people calling ogaadeen man as ogaadeen and not dividing them into reer isaaq and reer cabdule etc you will see majeerteen not divided as omar mahamuud osman and ciise mahamuud.
even among isaaq people you will see people calling habar jeclo even thought they are an alliance of 3 isaaq brothers, you will see most of isaaq people not dividing habar awa even thought they are of two major clans sacad and ciise muuse, but why do people divide garxajis as ciidagale and habar yoonis and not say garxajis?
