Asalam alykum warhmatullah wbaraktuh
To say that face veil is not from sunnah is like rejecting all the authentic ahadeeth that has been reported that the sahabiyats wore face veil.. That in it self is a major sin rejecting the authentic hadeeth.. Please don't put your self in a bad situation in front of Allah that you can't get your self out off.. The major scholars had some indifference if the face veil is wajib or mustahab or sunnah but never did they have the indifference that is it in the reported in sunnah..
