If you listen to the video, she actually agrees with what we have been saying all along, that if justice is going to be pursued, then all culprits should be brought to justice. If not, let's learn to forgive and move forward and put the past behind us. Gen Samatar's indictment, despite the man's heinous past and crimes, serves no useful purpose for the advancement of justice in our country. It causes more ill-feelings and ultimately will prove to be counterproductive to the noble cause of justice. Either, we should bring all criminals to trail, or should learn to reconcile and look to the future. A lot of people are defending Gen Samatar because he happened to serve in the dictatorship of their clan and equal number of people are calling for the man's head because he happens to be an vulnerable target because of his clan. This is an insult to the tens of thousands of innocent people that died during the dictator's regime. Justice is what they want, not vengeance based on settling clan scores. The same clan that was the reason for their massacre.
