Somalinet Made Me...

Postby Narcissistic » Mon Mar 01, 2010 5:12 am

...dumber

I went from constructing sentences in my earlier posts....
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=232627
Do we only get angry and protest when the Muslims are being killed by non Muslims, What about Darfur, Somalia, Guinea? What about torture prisons in the Middle East. I wish we were more consistent in our anger towards injustice.
Well-pointed... however either directly or indirectly these gaalo have and are contributing the numerous Muslim 'collateral damage'. Such is the case of the Iraq-Iran War, Iraq-Kuwait War, the current situation in Somalia, the numerous brothers held on terrorist charges with little or no evidence.

^ I disagree... Everybody isn't made to be doctors, lawyers and what not. Every qualification gives you a skill whether it be journalism, studio arts or what not. We need to diversify and each use our area of expertise for the better of Somalia . :som:  :som:

You are mixing up a lot of basic biology but let me tell you walaal fitness has zero to do with how strong you are, it is just how you reproduce. And between the many process that can be taken into account such genetic drift, mutation, gene flow, etc your ability to "reproduce" has nothing to do with how "strong you are".

You can take a white man and a black man and have them reproduce in Siberia. The white man can be more suited to that cold and can need less energy to sleep with as much women as possible while the black man needs to recharge or can attract those ladies, but because of an occurance like genetic drift...the black man can have better "fitness" and beat that white guy in his element.

Fitness has two aspects pertaining to it, reproduction & essentially survival...while reproduction alone can yield higher rates of offspring left with that given phenotype, organisms level of adaptation to that environment contributes to the amount of progeny left. Take for example citizens of Somalia, they reproduce alot however that reproduction is counter-balanced by the amount of killing, famine and what not. This aspect of 'fitness' is crucial as it contributes directly to the amount of progeny that is left behind.

In certain animals fitness is essentially how strong the male is as it attracts mates...however assuming all races reproduce at relatively equal rates, what would determine our fitness ...?

As for the topic... hijaab and good ahlaaq are both important aspects of our deen. We all know the rulings of hijaab in our sharicah and the importance of ahlaaq is reiterated in Quran and Sunnah but something we tend to overlook these days, the following hadith is but one of them.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I have only been sent to perfect good characteristics.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (273) and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (45).

However, hijaab and good ahlaaq do not have to be mutually exclusive. We shouldn't hide behind this ill notion that so long as you have good ahlaaq it abrogates one's obligation to cover modestly.
~My two cents ~

To this....
Dirac suits fat chicks :?
Fatty lesbo- you're quite annoying too actually :x :x :x !!!!
So, what's the summarized version? :|

I agree. When I came to these forums I hope that I would be able to discuss African/World politics with other members. Yet I find only a very few liked talking about these issues. Now I am degrading to writing about Somali history and some clan topics.
