What good is democracy or women's right movements? Does it improves the quality of life?

^ that's why I stated people DON'T want it. there are more important things right now than false western standards guidelines. I for one, as well as leading african economists believe that democracy and western-style rule should be out of the question for african states until further notice.

i take that back, democracy is highly ineffective, period.
