To be honest, Djibouti Has no right to be called out by Zoomalis. Puntland/Somailand are serving Ethiopia the poorest nation on earth, and the South are supporting foreign criminals from around the World. Djibouti at least gets compensated very generously for their services to the nations with the most robust economies in the world (US, Japan, France)

I never heard about ethnic Somalis being sold to Ethiopia to be tortured in Djbouti :dj:
And you shouldn't really be criticizing anyone when it was your own uncle, Barre Hiirale who has gone beyond where no other warlord has gone before. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he while on top of an Ethiopian tank the one who said, as long as he is fighting the UIC, he will collaborate with even "Yahuud" let alone Ethiopians? Boosting about collaborating with "Yahuud" is the lowest any Somali politician has gone to date, I hope we can agree on this

Murax,

I know you are a wise guy

I believe this is what you mean:

http://www.aminarts.com/12_APR_2010.html

Exactly walaashis, a picture says a thousand words. I mean lets be real, through out history nations have been subjects or subordinates to superpowers. Obviously Djibouti a extremely small, inhospitable desert that Has to import all their food is going to fall under somebody. However, last I checked America was ranked #1 in the world as far as having the most powerful economy, and Japan ranked second. Djibouti is certainly not alone, in falling under the hegemony of such powers. On the flipside Ethiopia is always ranked as the most poverty stricken nation on earth, with one of the highest aids rates to boot. How can Somalis who are under Ethiopia possibly say anything to Djibouti? :?

D Runner,

Take a deep breath bro, this isn't a qabiil bashing topic, this is calling a spade a spade. Put affairs in their proper context by finding a proper thread for You to do Your Barre Hiiraale, Marexaan bashing

Population of Djbooti 849,245 of which 300,000 afar.

Population of somaliweyn 9.8mill traces of afar businessmen.
Population of eriteria 5.6million of which 250,000 Afar.

Another 130,000 afar in ethiopia.

Afar seem to have a similar situation as the somalis whose lands seem to be divided between 3 different countries. Coincidence that somaliweyn itself is destined to conclude it history in three seperate independent states.

The battle has began to secure the horn of africa for exploitation.

- 2010 is the year somaliweyn is buried with the recognition of somaliland Japan is needs something DJbuuti does not have... but it wants that which djbuuti offers, safe base of operations to safe guard future investment in somaliland. Isreali request for a base pending evaluation...
