A few moments ago, hostile Israeli forces attacked the Freedom Flotilla humanitarian aid convoy headed towards the Gaza Strip. The convoy was, however, still in international waters.

Live ammunition from Israeli helicopters was fired at the six boats comprising the Flotilla. In the surprise attack, five of six ships were boarded by Israeli naval units. Unconfirmed reports state that three have been killed and at least thirty injured.

Reporter stationed on a Flotilla boat requests order: “We don’t want any more injuries. Take your seats.”

Earlier....You could clearly see the Israeli Apache's stalking the Flotilla ship as the humanitarians are being bombarded from all sides by smaller vessels. 3 are confirmed dead. One of them said to be a priest. Ship had several reporters from MANY different News stations. The Aljezeera guy is badly hurt.

Its STILL on International Waters. Soon as the ship neared the coast of GAZA they began swarming over them. The Captain turned back around. This about an hour ago. The Israeli didnt want to wait until Daylight, So the began attacking. First Tear gas.....then game the artiliaries. Injuring over 40.

The Turks are the bravest, and most outspoken Muslims thus far. Actually, they had been protesting for the past 5 hours....with many coming from different cities knowing that Israel would be FOUL either way in how they'd deal with this ship. They have also now already summoned their Ambassador back to ankara, and vowed that Israel would be held accountable militarily. We shall see abt that, though. Aljazeera wasnt covering this until exactly about an hour and half ago. They refused to even reveal that they had a reporter on the ship until he got badly injured. Looks now they are def. covering it.

Yes. Piracy. They had NO legal right to attack them on those waters. Hell, the humanitarians were still waving white flags while they were being shot at. They were clearly making strides to return to where they came from, because it was dark as they they preferred daylight, when the shots were fired at them. Israel has since declared the shores of Gaza a "closed military zone". Beyond foul.

CNN and all the media have been ignoring the story for days. They just now within the past 20 mins or so reported on it. Even then, they referred to it as a "Clash" and not attack. Anyway, My guess is that since Obama is meeting with Netan-yahuud this coming week, and that yesterday was the first time Abbas had stepped his fat little paws into the GaZA...something is bound gonna happen with the Strip. Something rather dragged out, that will take months. Sure, they will get their "aid" back. But only as apart of some greater deal making. The US will issue a statement, saying that Israel "should" have "de-escalated" the situation with teh ship. BUT that will be that for their scolding. I doubt Europe would even raise an eyebrow let alone issue a statement. As for TURKEY. Well Turkey is already pissed off because of the Armenia issue with both the US and few other countries. I might be surprised in how they go about it. I kind want to see they maybe consider military options. I doubt this will be the case. They'll talk much, wave a finger or too....and this too shall come to a pass. Like I said tho....I'm HOPING that i'll be surprised in how they react.
