Just make sure you dont show up with 200 dollars and think its Somalia. Djibouti is a very expensive place since everything is imported.

I been there and Djibouti is truely hell on Earth, weather and infrastructure. Their airport is the size of a Plaza, the washrooms filled with water. Once you get past that and into the city, your met with a third world town that looks like its been stuck in the 60s. Nothing progressive and you'd wonder how a nation of half a mill thats not seen a war still looks like shit, I'd say its a cleaner version of Hargeysa plus some buildings.

I would never recommend anybody who isnt Djiboutian to waste their time or money unless their feeding some poor Somalians.

Only place worth visiting in Africa is SA. And thats because it was the whitemans safe heaven before the baboons were liberated.

This is what a secular government can accomplish. And by Somali standards, this nation is truly heaven on Earth.

Djibouti isn't even a country but a port and a military base. It shouldn't exist. It's development is rather poor with a country with stability for a long time. Very poor country.
