It is the year 2006; the roars are being heard, from a skinny man wearing Islamic attire, born to a family of dwellers. His name is Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. Before A.Yusuf, unfortunately brings in the African Union and Ethiopia forces, Ahmed lights up the stage and is proclaimed the new savior of Mogadishu. After the troops are brought in there is a crowd filled with spectacles, alongside is his three year old son carrying an AK47 and his wife draped in a Gabib outfit proclaiming that Somalia is falling in the traps, and their new president is shaming the country by bring in foreign troops into a Somali region, some who are not following the Muslim faith. This man of God is seen as a man of dignity, and will never comprise his character for a prize.
Fast-forward, to 2009, no longer is this man wearing Islamic attire. He now wears a suit, and is declared El-presidente of Somalia, by a parliament representation of 550. The same AU soldiers he stood firm against, now protect him in his quarters of Villa Somalia, his followers whom he brainwashed living in the bushes, fighting against the occupiers; them also dreaming one day to be PRESIDENT.
This story children, is the story of a Somali. A person who will throw about their dignity, and compromise their own people for some sort of prize, most importantly the most prized possession in Somalia is being called PRESIDENT.
