Ethiopia is used as an agent of the west in the Horn of Africa. All security arrangements and funds to run paramilitaries go to them. I was challenging the view that Faroole is an ardent ally of Ethiopia when I know he has made an effort to the US government to change its policies of coordinating every thing that is related to Somalia thru Ethiopia. My point is he is not their ally and not their favorite. The biggest problem between Ethiopia and Faroole took place when he tried to replace the head of the PIS and Ethiopia was the biggest problem of preventing him from replacing it. After he has met the US ambassador he did prevail over Ethiopia but the problem is the policy of coordinating every thing that is related to Somalia with Ethiopia still continues. It is not something that neither Faroole, Shariif nor Al-Shabaab can change it alone. It is all Somalis including the diaspora who can change it including lobbying the US Senators and US House of Representatives to change this policy.

What I also do reject is Somalis' view of taking every thing about Somalia as black and white. You are not one but many others here who all in the blame game. The fact is Somalia is being intervened by many countries who have their surrogates in all of the entities and Faroole alone can't be faulted with having some form of relationship with Ethiopia since this is the country that is used to be an agent of Horn of Africa.
