Why don't you go and visit Xamar to check it out for yourself ? There is a Jubba Airways flight from Djibouti to Xamar three times a week. Once you leave the airport, you can be in the Bakara Market and watch the action for yourself ?

I haven't returned and will not be coming back to the USA for a long time. I did visit Galmudug and enjoyed it. It was great.

I couldn't get a meeting with General Qeybdiid in Xamar (busy) but managed to meet with General Gelle, Chief of Staff of the Somali Army.

So why aren't you going to Xamar ? Are you afraid of Shabab ?

Checked a couple south somali websites and still no offensive (Badr style).

We can safely says that Alshabaab offensive has defenitly failed to materialise..
too bad!!

Well, if they are in the Maka Al-Mukarama road (around the Dabka area) and also seized the old building for Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the House of Mohamed Dheere, I think they are in a position to threaten the TFG's Villa Somalia. Of course, TFG denied Al-Shabaab seizing the old building for Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. By seeing the death of countless civilians, I just asked myself what is the way out?

May Allah help the defenseless people of Somalia.
